Brickendon Time Trial League Week 16 - Tuesday 5th Aug 2008
Simon Best lived up to his name by winning a second successive round of North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver. Despite the bad weather, 14 riders braved the elements in Round 16 of the 10-mile time trial series at Brickendon Green. Simon took the 30 points, coming past the timekeeper in 23:02, beating Tony May by just two seconds. Overall Salver leader Dave Candy took third place with a time of 23:09. The overall race winner was Hugh Vivian, of Finsbury Park CC, with a time of 22:03.
