Brickendon 10 Ken Davis Salver and Peggy and Geoff Bruton Trophy

A series of 9.1 mile time trials open to all running on Tuesday evenings for 16 weeks from 5th May 2026, with points accrued each week determining the winner of the coveted Ken Davis Silver Salver (Open) or Peggy and Geoff Bruton Trophy (Female)

Riders off at 1 minute intervals, 7pm start - please arrive early (from 6.30) to allow time to sign on at the village hall. Start is adjacent to the tennis courts.

North Roaders ride for free, £5 for non-members. NRCC members will take priority in the unlikely event of there being more than 30 riders. Any North Roader requiring an early start or late number please message the Brickendon 10 Discord channel before 6.30pm.

A helmet and working front and rear lights are compulsory. Please make sure you know the route if you are riding for the first time.

Sign on at the village hall in Brickendon. From the start at the top of hill at the west end of the village, ride through the village and down towards Hertford (4.3 km). Turn left at the T junction on to the B158. Pass the turn into Bayfordbury and the left turn up to Bayford, and take the left turn up Robins Nest Hill (7.6km). Pass Stockings Lane and Bucks Alley and turn left at the war memorial triangle into Little Berkhamsted (9.5km). Ride through the village, down and up a dip and past the Beehive pub, then turn next left into White Stubbs Lane (11km). After 700 metres turn left again into Ashendene Road (11.7km). At the Bayford triangle turn right (13.4km), descend and pass Bayford station and up the hill to the finish (14.6km). Well done!

On occasion the course may be modified to avoid roadworks or other obstacles, details at sign-on.
