Eight riders turned up to face the timekeepers, 5 North Roaders & 3 guest riders. The weather was unpredictable with gusty wind and threatening rain. This meant that Ivana Prokopova and Ashley Glass decided to come out and help rather than race.
The fastest time of the night was Dermot Healey with a time of 22:45, who went off at number 2. Conditions deteriorated and by the time Richard Webster went off, number 7, the road was slippery. Richard decided to take care as he did not want himself and Graham to have to fill out an accident report. Richard did well to record a time of 24:01.
Robins Nest Hill also decided to take revenge for some undisclosed slight. Chris Symonds' chain came off and after stopping, realised that he did not have a following car to help with repairs, had to put the chain back on himself, but he still managed a time of 24:27. Charlie Wiltshire had a side puncture which he repaired, as he had a spare inner tube with him, and arrived at the hall after about 51 minutes just as preparations were being made to send out a rescue party.
