Hot, calm night with nearly as many spectators as riders
Eighteen riders turned up to face the timekeepers, 8 North Roaders & 10 guests for the penultimate round of the Brickendon 10 series. It was a hot calm night as the riders were sent off watched by the largest number of spectators seen in a long time. The car park was full and in future a parking attendant may be required.
Richard Webster was the fastest North Roader of the night recording a time of 23:21, though disappointed as he was hoping for a sub 23 minute time which had been his goal for the season.
Alex Wiles, Dulwich Paragon CC, rode round 50 seconds quicker than the previous week with a time of 21:54, the fastest time of the night. What would he be able to achieve if he was on a time trial bike?
The village hall was full of people which made for an enjoyable event.
