It was a hot evening with temperatures around 31 degrees.
Unexpectedly 13 riders came out to face the timekeepers, 9 North Roaders and 4 guests.
Ashley Glass thought that he had ridden a personal best on the course with a time of 24:12 only to discover when he got home that it was his 2nd fastest time. His personal best was a time of 24:07 which he achieved in 2017. Six seconds quicker next week Ashley?
Chris Dixon has joined the DNF club by riding down White Stubbs Lane and crossing the finishing line the wrong way.
Laura O'Shea, Swindon Wheelers, and Charlie Wiltshire, VC Deal, rode for the first time this year, but had ridden the Brickendon 10 previously, welcome back.
Thomas Maynard, Come & Try, rode the Brickendon 10 course for the first time having never ridden the course before, just following his Garmin, and recorded a time of 23:55. We are in talks to sign him up for the North Road for the 2026 season. Watch out Richard he is after your time.
