Club Hardriders, two laps Brickendon circuit, 18.6 miles - Sunday 5th October 2008
It was May Day for one participant in the Club Hardriders race. Just six competitors braved the wind and rain to complete two laps of the Brickendon Green circuit. Tony May won, completing the first lap in 23:31 and the second in 23:54, giving him an over-all finishing time of 47:25. Second placed Steve James completed his first lap in 24:06 and only one second slower the second time. Nick Ison punctured a tyre, but finished fifth as Richard Somerset rode only one lap.
