Dave Candy, Phil Moon, Dave Watson and Leigh Harvey represented North Road at Newmarket, in the Hertfordshire Wheelers 30-mile time trial. Dave Candy finished in 10th place with a time of 1:11:07. Phil Moon finished with a time of 1:13:48 and he was followed by Dave Watson and Leigh Harvey with times of 1:16:23 and 1:18:23 respectively. Dave C, Dave W and Phil won the team prize for North Road.
Leigh's time is a new club record for 30 miles
