City of Bath Triathlon - Sunday July 15th, Olympic Distance

It has been a dismal season so far: swimming with an unzipped wetsuit at the Chorus International Elite Open and finishing 28th, getting lost in the swim at Royal Windsor Elite and finishing 18th (thanks to Dave Candy for support!) and then the cassette came off my bike as I led the British Age Group Championships!
However on July 15th I finally managed a result and having led all the way I was beaten on the run, to finish in second place in the City of Bath Triathlon.
It was a good day soured by the Red Bull sponsor asking me did I mind if they didn't put my photo in their adverts as I did not have the look the brand wanted, but could they use my name and a picture of someone who finished 20th! Cheek!!
City of Bath Tri: 1500 swim 20.20 mins, 25 (hilly) miles bike: 1.14 hours. 10k. run 37.00 mins.
