North Road CC Track Day

The North Road have exclusive hire of the Velodrome at Gosling Sports Park on 16th September 2018 from 10.30-15.30. If you want to hire a track bike, please arrive an hour early to enable us to match you with a bike.

We have experienced coach, Sophie Bruton present to help riders gain confidence and skills. We will also have Eric Paillet, Nigel Cameron, Brian Evans and myself on hand to help.

The format of the day will be:-
Bike Fitting
Getting used to riding the track
Lunch break
Go-ride for children
Having a go at track racing

Please invite your families to join us, children are welcome to use the inside of the velodrome to ride around and we will have Go-Ride activities for the children during the lunch break. Go-Ride is a fun introduction to cycling, you never know you may have a budding Laura or Jason Kenny in your family (or it could be you!).

One of the great things about track racing is that it is sociable for all involved so bring your families and let them see the fun and social side of cycling.

We will serve refreshments during the day. We will ask for a small charge towards bike hire and velodrome hire. The club will subsidise the event.
