Six riders took the start and all were relieved that the rain held off until near the end of the race. A strong wind made the going hard at times.
My thanks to all the riders and those who came to support the event. Thanks especially to Brian Goodwin for looking after the catering while I was otherwise engaged with the timekeeping.
