Tony May, Jeff Robinson and Simon Best all rode in this event, which was marred by the tragic death of Army CU rider Gareth Evans, who was struck from behind by a car on the south bound leg of the course and died at the scene of the accident.the event was therefore adandoned. on behalf of myself and the North Road CC , condolances to his family and all concerned
