Welwyn Track League - Fri 8th August 2008

After last week's meet was rained off Richard Somerset and Warren Cobb returned to Gosling for the latest round of the Welwyn Track League.

In the opening 10 lap scratch for B riders Warren and Richard finished in the bunch.

The next event was the 10 lap handicap for B evens and A odds. The B's were well orgainised so that the A's couldn't catch them before the finish where Richard came fifth and agonisingly outside the points.

Warren wasn't so lucky and in his handicap race the B's were quickly caught and the A's took the spoils.

Due to the high number of B riders the Devil was split into two races for odds and events. Warren lasted until half distance in his event and was eliminated, RIchard stayed near the front without elimination until the last lap where again he came fifth.
