Brickendon 2022 wk15

The fast boys turned up to burn up a shortened 8.5 mile course on a blazingly hot evening in sunny Brickendon. Traffic lights forced a start just down the hill with the finish in the usual place.

Dan Brown, Alex Labey, John Saysell and Glyn Dodds all turned in highly creditable 22 minute results, way ahead of Chris Dixon and Ivana Prokopova just a second apart with 25s, and Chris Glithero with a spirited 27. J Ambrose-Parish from TAAP was the fastest of eight guest riders with 19.27.

The Farmers Boy has reopened after refurbishment and some keen riders began their preparations for next week's Athletes Edition by staying until closing time.
