A piece of cake for Jobe
Five North Road CC members started Round 8 of the Ken Davis Salver, with Hertfordshire Wheelers fielding 8 riders and Andy Jarratt the other non-Member making a total of 14. The road works at Little Berkhamsted were finished by the time we held the time trial, so we used the normal course.
Chris Wedge rode his road bike giving Jobe Usher a chance to gain a few points back. Debbie would only let Jobe have a slice of lemon drizzle cake if he beat 22:00. He returned a time of 21:42. Dan Brown, Chris Symonds and Nikki Chandler all achieved their fastest times this year with Nikki and Ivana now equal on 74 points after 4 rides.
On the 19th July Debbie will making Lemon Drizzle Cake and Vegan sausages rolls, again; will Jobe go faster still with that incentive, or could you achieve a PB that night. COME AND TRY!
