Brickendon Time Trial League Week 1 - Tuesday 19th April 2011 

A good turnout of riders for Round One of the North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver series with 19 North Roaders competing for the first points of the 2011 season. They were joined by 15 guest riders on a good night for racing at Brickendon Green.

Champion Marcus Machell, hoping to carry over his form from last year was beaten by Gavin Lewis, riding his personal best to take the first 30 points. He finished with a time of 21:48.

Marcus came second, 14 seconds behind Gavin to collect 27 points, also riding his PB. Tim Brown, who finished third place last year, took the 25 points with a time of 22:08 beating Steve Sexton by three seconds, Steve equalled his PB. The overall winner was Andy Hastings (Finchley RT) crossing the finishing line in a very fast time of 20:49.
