Brickendon Time Trial League Week 1 - Tuesday 21st April 2009
The first round of North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver proved a closely-contested affair as 27 North Roaders were joined by five guests and four newcomers for the race at Brickendon Green. Tony May continued his good early form to take the first 30 points with a time of 22:49. He finished 19 seconds ahead of 2008 Salver runner up Simon Best. Last year’s winner Dave Candy finished fifth.
