Brickendon Time Trial League Week 9 - Tuesday 19th June
A nail-biting finish to Round 9 of North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver saw runaway leader Dave Candy receive his most severe test yet before ultimately completing a ninth successive victory. An entertaining race, which took place in hazardous conditions after heavy showers, saw Ian Coles clock an excellent 22:59, only to be edged out by just six seconds as the reining champion extended his perfect record. Darren Rochford took third.
