Brickendon Time Trial League Week 9 - Tuesday 16th June 2009
Tony May’s dominance continued in North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver at Brickendon Green. Road works completed on the lower Hatfield Road brought Robins Nest Hill back into action. Tony took the 30 points with a time of 22:38. Once again the runner-up was Simon Best, finishing with a time of 22:41 just three seconds behind Tony. Laurence Pidcock took the third spot, riding his best time of the year so far. Jeff Robinson, Alan Barker and junior Alex Davies rode their personal bests. Also riding their best times of the year were Dave Candy, Steve James, Marcus Machell and Simon Checkley. The overall winner was Craig Simpson (Blue Sky Cycles) with a time of 21:04
