Welwyn Track League - Fri 9th May 2008

In only his third ever track meeting Ian Coles came second in the 10 lap points race for B riders. He attacked early and took full points in three sprints. He eventually gained 12 poitns but was beaten by one point into second place.

In the other events Ian, Richard Somerset and first time rider Warren Cobb finished in the bunch in the 10 lap scratch.

The 10 lap block handicap was a close affair. Ian finished first in his group for the odd numbered riders but the even number riders just beat them to take the placings with Richard in eighth.
