Another successful evening with Nick Candy and Karl Willis coming out on top in their respective sections. The hot and dry weather continues. I spent a long weekend at Wells next the Sea and everywhere looked parched apart from the trees in the Thetford Forest and at Holkham Hall, which I found to be a great place for cycling in its extensive grounds and mostly free of cars.

At Brickendon Green the usual reliable gang were on hand to ensure the '10' ran smoothly and once entry to the hall had been accomplished (the keys were on my desk in Stevenage!) all enjoyed a good evening, despite one puncturing in the first few miles and a guest having a restart due to a mechanical glitch. All present should thank Nikki and Ivana for providing refreshments at the hall.

See you all next week on 24th July for some not too serious racing with some NR socialising afterwards.
