A fine and breezy evening gave some good times with Nick Candy leading the way for the third time with a season's best of 20.33.

Ivana Prokopova intends to keep a tight grip on the Peggy and Geoff Cup awarded to the ladies for the series with another consistent ride. There was a good gathering in the hall after the event to compare times, proffer excuses and take refreshments provided by Nikki.

Thanks go to Gwyn Watkins, Ian Clay, Chris Dixon, Peter Nunn plus Laurence Lisher from Green Arrow CRT for doing the pusher off duty and others for helping to put the event on the road. As for myself it was a welcome chance to sit down and take a break from gardening duties and watch others suffer on the final hill to the finish - a complete contrast in riding styles to cross the finish line and ride along to the hall.
