Fry flying tonight

A hot evening with a strong breeze made for some good times. Three NRers were inside 22 minutes but the ride of the evening belongs to Joe Fry with 19.26 which to my mind must be an event record within living memory. This is a speed of 28.714 mph which is first class considering the road surfaces, hills and corners met around the course.

Assisted by Ian Clay (second timekeeper, pusher off and signage placement) the timekeeping duties were fulfilled by Graham Thompson (timekeeper, signing on clerk, entry fee collector and number dispenser). Ivana rode and then took care of the refreshments and was helped by Nikki busy in the kitchen and collecting the numbers. A busy evening but willing helpers made light work of the tasks which fall to all event organisers. Final task is checking the times, typing the result and comments before the Emails to club officials.
