A warm and breezy evening produced fast times from the guests but the North Roaders were conspicuous by their absence. It was rumoured that some were sunning themselves in warmer climes and one was saving himself for the National Championship 12 Hour on Sunday in Norfolk. Graham Potter has been a faithful spectator at the '10s' this season but entered the fray making a comeback in his first time trial since 1987. That was the year he ran the London Marathon - an evening 10 at Brickendon and a marathon are not easy events and are at opposite ends of the sporting spectrum. The guests made it all look so simple and easy so NR members need to put on a show for the final two events. Watch this space to see who is riding as at the finish there was a lot of talk about comebacks and having a go!
