Brickendon Time Trial League Week 11 - Tuesday 1st July 2008
There appears to be no stopping Dave Candy in North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver. Round 11 of the competition brought another win and 30 points for Dave at Brickendon Green as he completed the course in a time of 22:44. For the second week running, there was a fine ride from John McDowall, again taking the runners-up spot with a personal best of 22:52, just beating Tony May by one second. The overall winner was the course record holder, Craig Simpson, riding for Blue Sky Cycles, crossing the finishing line in 20:26.
