Brickendon Time Trial League Week 14 - Tuesday 22nd July 2008
It was a good night for North Road Cycling Club in the Brickendon Green 10 as 26 North Roaders competed for points in Round 14 of the Ken Davis Salver. Tony May and Simon Best both stormed around the course with Tony knocking seven seconds off his personal best to finish over a minute ahead of second place Simon. John McDowall was third, with Salver leader relegated to fourth position. Also registering PBs were Nick Ison, Rupert Price, Dave Kiely, Richard Roomans, Gareth Wilmot and Jennifer Hill. Riding their best times of the year were Tristan Emptage, Nick Harris, Tony Shoesmith. Overall winner Paul Lisher (Team Welwyn) 22:10.
