Brickendon Time Trial League Week 19 - Tuesday 28th August
Dave Candy retained the Salver with another resounding victory in the final event of the 19-race season. A time of 22:17 saw him finish ahead of nearest challenger Daren Rochford (22:50), Mark Lawrence (23:03), Tony May (23:05), Chris Symonds (23:26) and Richard Somerset (23:35). With 30 points for a win and a competitor’s best 10 results scoring points Dave inevitably finished 2007 with a perfect 300 points to claim another emphatic victory. The top six was completed by Daren (276), Ian Coles (264), Simon Best (233) Richard (212) and Tony (210). Dave also recorded the summer’s fastest North Road time for the second successive year.
