Brickendon Time Trial League Week 4 - Wednesday 16th May
Despite a wet night, 25 riders took part in the North Road Cycling Club’s Brickendon Green “10” time trial with 17 North Roaders competing in Round 4 of the Ken Davis Salver. Another successful evening for Dave Candy and Ian Coles as for the four weeks on the trot took the 30 and 27 points respectively with times of 22:32 and 23:26. Riding his first event for 2007 Mike Bridge took the third position with a time of 23:35. He was followed by Nick Ison and Daren Rochford for fourth and fifth places. Roger Bishop returned to competitive racing after a knee injury and came past the finishing line with a time of 23:59. The overall winner was Darren Treadway from the Arctic-Shorter Rochford RT in a time of 22:24.
