Brickendon Time Trial League Week 9 - Tuesday 17th June 2008
Dave Candy snatched victory in the North Road Cycling Club’s Ken Davis Salver – but only just. Round Nine saw just three seconds separating the first three riders and it was once again the pedal power of Dave which helped him take the 30 points in a time of 23:14. He just pipped second-placed Simon Best by one second, who finished two seconds ahead of Tony May with John McDowall fourth. The overall winner was Mark Allen, of Orange Monkey, who finished with a time of 22:12.
