Stevenage CC Two-Up TT 10th Sept 2011

A quick return for some to the Guilden Morden circuit after the club 25 the week before. This time for a single lap two-up of 12 miles organised by the Stevenage CC. Again the race was dominated by a strong headwind up the draggy exposed section of the course.
John McDowall and Dave Kiely finished fifth overall with 28-06. Bruce Metheringham riding with Mike Diggins of Gregarios CC rode strongly to a 28-15, in what Bruce described as his ‘comeback ride’. The North Road entry was completed by Jim Ewers and Chris Glithero who passed the timekeeper in 31-04.
The event was won by Andy Page (E Seventeen Bikes) and Dean Lubin (PCA Cyclos Uno) in 25-43.
