The Highway Code
It is important to be informed about the regulations that relate to sharing the road with drivers and everyone else. As always, courtesy and consideration go a long way towards creating a safe environment for cyclists, so wave thanks to drivers who show regard for your safety, and warn horse riders with a cheery greeting before passing slowly and at a safe distance.
Rules for cyclists:
Rules for all road users on overtaking (including Rule 163)
Rules regarding road users requiring extra care (including cyclists and horse riders)

Taking up or returning to cycling?
Join us on a Sunday club run.
We meet at the station car park, on the corner of Beane Road opposite Hertford North station at 9.30 almost every Sunday, for a ride of 15 to 20 miles to a cafe and back.
