The Fellowship of North London Cyclists Presentation to Chris Symonds

Chris Symonds was invited to the Fellowship lunch to receive his award for his ride in the Chronos 10 mile timetrial on 27th July 2024. This was a nominated event, in which veteran riders from member clubs would be eligible to win the Fellowship Trophy and hold it for a year. Chris recorded a time of 22m 39s, which was the fastest of the eligible riders.
Chris was presented with the trophy by Fellowship Chairman John Elsden and congratulated by the gathering of North Road members who are all regular attendees at the lunches. These are very sociable events where older, mostly ex-racers and officials can meet-up and have a chat. It was great to see Chris, with his family in support, come along to be recognised for his ride.
