ECCA 12 Hour time trial - Sun 19th Aug 2012

I completed the ECCA 12 hour time trial yesterday, with an unofficial distance of 225 miles, 22nd out of 32 finishers.  It was absurdly hot to be riding all day, but there were plenty of helpers armed with wet sponges.  The fastest rider managed a very impressive 300 miles; he shot past me just after I had finished, looking as though he was riding a 25.  I couldn't have completed the event without support; Jennifer arrived at just the right time, with food, drink and encouragement to help me finish.
