Steve Blackwell and Richard Somerset represented the club at the Dunmow Duathlon set in Hatfield Forest.
The first run was 5km off road, followed by a 24km loop on the lanes outside the forest and finishing with the same 5km run.
In a field of 185 Richard improved by three minutes on his time from 2010 to finish in 13th place, Steve in his first duathlon did well to finish in 115th.
