Ian Turners report BDCA 50m TT 27-6-15

Sunday 27 June 2015 – BDCA 50m TT

I was pleased with a solid ride, in hot and sunny conditions. A stronger than forecast wind from the West resulted in what is turning out to be a regular pattern for this year’s events, head-wind slog out and a tail-wind return. I recorded a time of 1:53:37. I was initially disappointed to have finished a minute down on my 50 PB which I set on this course 2 years ago but given the less favourable conditions and building on my previous weekends experience it was a step in the right direction.
