Ken Lush Memorial Road Race Results - Sun 11th July 10

North Road Cycling Club held The Kenneth Lush Memorial 125 kilometre Road Race, an event in the Eastern Road Race League for National B E/1/2/3 riders on the Whitwell circuit starting from Whitwell, taking in Codicote, St Paul Walden. The race is in memory of the late Kenneth Lush.
The strong field of 60 riders included 12 elites and set a fast pace from the start The Polish elite rider, Marcin Bialoblocki of Williers/BigMaggys.com took the first prize finishing solo.. Second place went to Marcel Six (Orbea-For Goodness Shakes) who was followed by Bialoblocki team mate Grant Bayton.
Lap two prime went to Andrew Hastings), the second at lap 4 to Martin Ford (Team Goldtec) and Ben Luckwell took the third at lap 6. Eleven riders were disqualified for crossing the double white line.
