LVRC Dunton Summer Series 4 - Thursday 24th June 2010

Another terrific turnout of North Road members at the windswept Dunton test track.  John McDowall, Richard Somerset, Del Evans, Steve James, Steve Sexton, Ian Turner, Steve Blackwell and a slightly late arriving Rod Kelson rolled up to the start line.  

 Both John, Ian, Steve J and Tim had brief moments at or off the front in  attempts to break the suffocating embrace of the bunch without much success.  The riding standards where a little 'iffy' leading to several dicey moments particularly as the last bend approached for the final bunch sprint.

Excepting Richard who had to retire due to mechanical problems all the North Roaders finished in the bunch during the hurly burly of a  manic sprint to the line.  Best place was Steve Sexton in 13th with Rod Kelson 15th.
