LVRC Hog Hill - Sun 7th Sep 08 + photos
Mon 08 Sep 2008
Rod Kelson was the sole North Roader at the LVRC event at Hog Hill on Sunday. Using only the lower 1km circuit, so avoiding the 1 in 9 hill, each lap consisted of four straights and seven corners, two being tight hairpins and two off-camber.
It was raining and windy and there were about 10 punctures due to flints. Rod was unlucky enough to be a puncture victim on the last lap but it was a slow leak and he carried on to finish third in the sprint and fifth overall. The average speed was 22.9 and eight of the A group finished out of 17 starters.
The next event is on Sunday 21st Septemebr at 10.00am.
