Bumper crop of North Roaders

On this warm night 18 riders turn out to face the timekeepers 12 North Roaders and 6 guests. The course was clear of traffic lights this week.

Richard Webster was the fastest North Roader, again, this week finally getting under the 23 minute mark with a time of 22:53. John Saysell followed next with a time of 24:30. Dan Miles rode his first Brickendon 10 in a time of 27:02 after getting a quick course guide from Alison.

Three guest riders showed the rest of us how it is done by riding on road bikes. Alex Wiles rode round in 21:31, Simon Broadway in 22:21 and Jules De Souza-Brazil in 23:12.

It was nice to see both Nicki Chandler and Eric Jewel out last night. Spectators are always welcome and are provided with cyclists' tea.
