Another sultry evening and another fast time.

Eleven cyclists faced the timekeepers this week, 8 North Roaders & 3 guests. As last week it was thought that it was too warm for any fast times but this thought was proved wrong yet again.

Nick Candy recorded a time of 20:44 the second fastest time of the 2026 series Dermot Kealey recorded the second fastest time of the night with 22:16

The fastest North Roader of the night was John Saysell with a time of 24:09, closely followed by Simon Fawcett with 24:18. Richard Webster had a mechanical and failed to finish. This did not stop Richard topping the overall points for the second week running.

Afterwards we retired to the village hall for fruit and biscuits and a natter.
