Eastern Cross League action for 2013/14 finished at King Edward VI School,  Bury St.Edmunds.  A double school playing field layout was imaginatively used to provide a varied and challenging course.  John McDowall sadly broke a chain in warm up and was unable to make the starting line.  


In the Vets/Women’s race ran over 40 minutes the winner was David Copland of Ipswich CC who completed 6 laps in 45.10 


Dave Kiely was best placed North Roader in 26th at +6.55

Hannah Ormesher was 34th in the combined standings at +1 lap 0.28.

In the Women’s standings Hannah secured yet another place on the podium coming in third at a +1 lap  8.18.


In the Senior/Elite Vets race there where two North Road riders competing.


Bryan Holland finished in 38th place at +1 lap and 5.46

Matt  Crees came 52nd at +2 laps 4.01


The winner was un-and-coming junior rider Sean Dunlea of Ciclos Uno who will be representing the Uk at the World CX championships in Holland.  He completed 8 laps in 54.17.
