Ciclos Uno Hog Hill Spring Series (event 2) Sunday 15th March 2012

Fifty to seventy LVRC riders across all age categories lined up for second event in the spring series with four North Road CC members involved.

Chris Glithero was our sole entrant in the EFGH vets race, and was in the top three or four riders throughout the race.  However, after some sterling work had to settle for eighth overall in the finale.

In the ABCD version, Frank Rawlings finished comfortably in the bunch in what was a fast race.  Unfortunately, Del Evans and Tim Brown both punctured with at least four other riders suffering the same fate.   Unusual as it was to see so many punctures, it was put down to the Redbridge circuit being unseasonably dry, as there has been no rain recently to give the track its ‘spring clean’.
