Kent Cyclopark Summer Series Round 5

From the gun 2 riders immediately broke away from the bunch, after a couple of laps Hugo bridged across to the leading duo followed a lap later by two others. With the 5 riders quickly realising they were the strongest in the race they started working together to stay away,once they were out of sight of the bunch they rode through and off for the next 50 minutes or so.

As the 5 breakaways  were onto the last lap Hugo took 2nd wheel and approaching the finish line he opened his sprint to pass the leading rider only to get jumped by the 3 behind who came off his wheel at the last moment. In his first ever successful race long breakaway he was pleased to finish in 4th place for another 6 BC points.
