LVRC Ford CC Dunton Series 1. Thursday 7th May 2015.

Over 50 riders were on the start line for race one in this popular evening criterium series, 3 NRCC riders, Simon Best,Steve James and Del Evans

were among them. With a strong headwind blowing down the revised finishing straight there were few takers when it came to any attacks out of the

bunch, those that did try their luck [ most notably our own Simon Best] were quickly brought back into the fold. With 3 laps to go the pace increased,with

a bunch sprint likely positioning was paramount. Subsequently our 3 racers found themselves near the front as the bell lap unfolded,sprinting for the

finish Simon dived down the left riding strongly for 5th place with Del and Steve opting to go down the right they were blocked by riders coming across from the

left, despite this they both finished near the main protagonists at the finale.
