Brickendon 2 up TT 19/04/2026

The first all team 2 up.
On a bright but chilly Sunday morning 8 riders came out to face the timekeepers, 6 North Roaders and 2 Welwyn Wheelers.
The veteran team of John Saysell and Richard Webster rode round in a very respectable time of 24:54. the second fastest time of the 2 up series, but 41 seconds slower than Jamie Anderson and Sacha Moreland's time from the previous week.
It was a first Brickendon 10 2 up ride for Tony Bradford and Martin Quinn. They rode round in 25:49, a good time for a first ride.
The guest Welwyn Wheelers, Tony Marriott and Peter Anstey, rode round in 26:46 with John Naylor and Ivana Prokopova, who was recovering from a 130km ride the previous day, bringing up the rear with 31:30.
Afterwards we all retired to the village hall for coffee and carrot cake.
