Brickendon 10 Round 5

Five North Roaders came out to face the timekeepers this week. There were no guest riders. The course had dried out nicely after the thundery downpour of the afternoon, though the damp roads did slow the times slightly.

Fastest time of the night was Richard Webster with 24:04 followed closely by John Saysell with a time of 24:44.  These two riders keep the top of the points table interesting.

Third was Mike Atkinson with a time of 28:37 and then fourth was John Naylor with 30:49, riding for the second week running on a mountain bike. 

Barbara Kubis came in fifth with a time of  33:53 which was only seven seconds slower than the previous week, giving her 21 points. Barbara's points total is now 34 only 2 points behind Ivana Prokopova with 36. This could turn the Peggy and Geoff Bruton Trophy into a competition this year.
