A very hot evening but a bumper crop of cyclists
10 North Roaders and 5 Guests came out to face the timekeepers. The North Roaders included 3 first time riders of the 10 Rob Windsor, Barbara Kubis and Paul Townsend. We do need a collective noun for a group of North Roaders.
Jamie Anderson was first with a time of 23:18, followed by John Saysell with 24:16. Of the new riders Rob Windsor recorded a time of 25:10, Barbara Kubis 33:46 and Paul Townsend went off course so DNF.
Of the guest riders, Andrew Brown recorded a time of 25:02. First time rider Colin Lam had a puncture and recorded a time of 37:19. Not a bad time to ride around the course and fix a puncture. Better luck next week.
