A very near record breaking ride for Casper Brazier.

On a hot evening 15 riders turned up to face the timekeepers, 9 North Roaders and 6 guests.

With temperatures in the low 30s, times were expected to be slow. This proved not to be the case. Team PB Performance rider Casper Brazier went round the course in 19:52 getting very near Nick Candy's North Road course club record of 19:48 (the fastest time on the CTT website is Adam Robertson, University of Bath CC, TT, 19:35). Well done to him. Dermot Kealey came in 2nd with a time of 22:47.

For the North Roaders the usual battle between Richard Webster and John Saysell continued. Richard Webster recorded a time of 23:23 and John Saysell recorded 24:46 giving Richard 30 points and John 27. This meant that Richard has now toppled John from the top of the points table for the first time this season.

Dave Kiely rode his first time trial of the year with a respectable time of 30:09 quicker than the time he thought he would record. This brings the total number of North Roaders riding the time trial to 19.

 Afterwards we all retired to the village hall for tea, coffee and fruit.
