CICLOS UNO SUMMER SERIES (EVENT 2) Hog Hill Lower Circuit.

A smaller but feistier bunch meant a tough workout for regular Vets crit’ers John McDowall and Del Evans.  

A touch of wheels early in the race brought down two riders and the ensuing confusion left both North Roaders detached from the bunch.  John was able to tag on to a hard working duo who managed to reconnect with the main bunch. Sadly, Del was gapped and also had to take a lap out for a mechanical.  

A fast, strung out race meant little opportunity for a ‘undercooked’ John so he settled for a big effort in the final sprint to the line and with six riders already away he came mid way up what remained of a thinned bunch.
