LVRC FORD CC DUNTON SERIES

A bitterly cold, overcast day for an evening of Vet crit racing at the Ford test track. Long gloves and warming industrial strength CX leg balm was required by North Road riders John McDowall and Del Evans. Despite the conditions, and the usual stiff breeze, the racing was eventful with continual attempts by riders to get away. Del and John remained comfortably positioned for most of the race the final three laps got ‘well dodgy’ with numerous incidents although, thankfully, no one came down. Back end of the bunch finishes for our two riders with hopefully better weather ahead for the summer.
