LVRC Hog Hill Summer Series 4 - Thurs 1st July 10

A hot and humid evening, and a smaller selection of riders than is usual for these evening events.  John McDowall and Steve Sexton where in the A/B event, Chris Glithero and Del Evans in the C/D with Andrew Bywater our sole rep in the E/F cat.  

 Both Steve and John where very active in the first half of the race with work required to catch the C/D group and in several attempted break-aways that where snaffled out.  Chris and Del lost contact at about half way although Del took a mini-prime at some point!  The final sprint up the line a strong looking Steve obtained fourth place whilst John came about ninth

 In the E/F cat, Andrew in only his second ever race, was involved in the final gallop up the climb with four other riders to secure ,by a 'sheepskin noseband' ((C) Steve Sexton 2010) a fine and well deserved second place
